The Bravura Brass is Dallas/Fort Worth’s all professional brass quintet. Among our five members, we hold or are pursuing 10 academic degrees in music from some of the nation’s most respected schools of music, including the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Florida State University, and the University of North Texas. 4. Gyros String Quartet

The Gyros String Quartet was formed by violist Norbert Gerl in 1986 to host "Classical Thursdays" at Panteli’s (now defunct and still sadly missed) on lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas. The Gyros String Quartet has performed for literally hundreds of wedding ceremonies and receptions, parties, corporate functions and art openings. Lead by violist Norbert Gerl and featuring the best string players in the DFW area, the primary goal has always been to help make a client’s event special.

5. Harp Delights

A Native of Yokohama, Japan, harpist Naoko Nakamura Stromberg now maintains an active performing and teaching schedule in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Her orchestral experiences have included performances with the major professional symphonic groups and ballet companies in Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston. She hhas been performing for wedding ceremonies and various events for 12 years. Her repertoire is extensive and her music provides wonderful ambiance for any occasion.

6. Harp Music by Laurel

Laurel, a graduate of the University of North Texas, performs for over 70 weddings a year, as well as playing numerous dinners, teas, luncheons, cocktail parties, grand openings, quinceaneras. She is also an accomplished singer and is happy to provide vocals at no extra charge. Laurel has a huge repertoire of music for special occasions, and can even sing in Hebrew and Yiddish, as well as Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Czech. She also plays authentic Celtic music on her Irish harp.
